Some of the links featured are affiliates, which means I do get a small share of profits for any purchases made after clicking on that business' link. But for the most part, I get nothing for advertising these providers other than the satisfaction of knowing I’m passing along helpful, useful information authors everywhere can use.

When I was creating my new website, I wanted to be sure to include a page that provides resources for authors so they can find almost anything they need in one central location. I’m proud to say that, pending a few more resources I need to add (anyone know a good PA?), I have an Author Resources page which I’m proud of.

On my website, if you click on Author Resources, you’ll bring up a page that lists all of my favorite service providers, software, and websites, each of which includes a logo which is clickable and will take you to that provider’s website. Every single resource listed is someone I have worked with one on one, and I can promise you, you will get the help you are looking for somewhere on this page. Some of the links are affiliates, which means I do get a small share of profits for any purchases made after clicking on that business’s link. But for the most part, I get nothing for advertising these providers other than the satisfaction of knowing I’m passing along helpful, useful information authors everywhere can use.

For example, if you’re looking for an author website that is unique, affordable, and matches your author brand, I highly recommend LoveLiveHustle, run by Nicole Tuxbury. She created my website for me, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I get compliments all the time on how great the site looks.

Or if you’re looking for a cover designer, I recommend Ashley Byland of Redbird Designs. Or for a marketing firm to help market your book, turn to Happily Ever After PR, run by Lydia Harbaugh. Need a good program to write your novel in, then turn to Scrivener. Want to edit while you write? Check out Pro Writing Aid

If you haven’t already, please wander on over to the Author Resources page check out my recommended providers. I’m sure you’ll find what you’re looking for, but if not, hit me up and let me know what you want to see featured on this page. I’m always open to suggestions.

And if you are a service provider who would like to be featured on our Author Resources page, contact me at info@topshelfedits.com. Or if you have someone you want to recommend, do the same. For now, being featured on my website is free because I’m only featuring businesses I truly believe in or have used firsthand.

Talk soon, and in the meantime, go write your best book!
