Some of the links featured are affiliates, which means I do get a small share of profits for any purchases made after clicking on that business' link. But for the most part, I get nothing for advertising these providers other than the satisfaction of knowing I’m passing along helpful, useful information authors everywhere can use.

If you’re wondering where I’ve been lately…why I’ve been “quiet,” it’s because I’ve got a new addiction, and I wanted to tell you all about it.

It’s called Tik Tok! And all authors who want to sell more books need to be on this platform ASAP!

Don’t believe me?

Using just the hashtag #authorsoftiktok, there are over 7 million followers!

Tik Tok now boasts over 2 BILLION monthly viewers!

Even better news? It’s still relatively new, so if you get on right now and start posting, you’ll be able to corner your own little niche and get all that attention for yourself.

Want proof?

I did some research after hearing from several business and marketing experts that we absolutely should be on Tik Tok, and I found out there are NO other author coaches/editors on there doing what we do yet.

So last week, I joined. In less than 7 days, I now have almost 1,000 followers, 10k views on my posts, and an average of 300 “likes” on each video!

And guess what? You don’t have to dance!

It’s addictive and fun, and even better than that, the environment is so supportive and uplifting. Facebook has become too negative, full of complaints and debates. Instagram is full of young folks posting “hot” pics and snooty comments. And Twitter…don’t get me started on Twitter.

Do me a favor…

Just go download the app. Look me up at @writeyourbestbook. And watch my videos. I give 15 second tips and tricks on writing your best book, and each time I post, I get more and more positive feedback.

I can almost guarantee, whatever your age, you’ll become addicted, too.

The secret is to pick something to make you stand out from the rest of the crowd – a niche, so to speak.

Let’s say you write romance novels. You can gear all your videos toward romantic type things. Same thing with any genre. Just find a way to stand out.

Again, you don’t have to dance (though I did break down and do one little dance). But you just have to use the right hashtags and copy some of the most popular videos (copying is encouraged on Tik Tok)!

I want to hear about your experiences on Tik Tok, so if you’re already on there, be sure to follow me, and comment below and let me know your account handle so I can follow you, too!

And do not think for one second you’re “too old” for Tik Tok! I’m 42, and I see tons of GenX’ers and even people in their 50s, 60s, and older posting on there now! The kids have lost complete control of this app, folks!

This is just another outlet for you to sell more books, so why not take advantage?

I’ll see you on Tik Tok!

Talk soon,

Christina Kaye
